ISLAMABAD: Opposition’s Rehbar Committee will hold a meeting today to decide on an offer of the government of negotiation regarding Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F) Azadi March.
JUI-F leader Akram Durrani, the head of the Rehbar Committee called a meeting of the body to make the decision. The committee will meet at 8 pm at Durrani’s residence today in Islamabad.
The Rehbar committee will decide whether to negotiate with the government or not on JUIF’s anti-government march.

While talking to media earlier on Sunday, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the decision to engage in a discussion with the government would be taken in the meeting with other opposition parties.
On the other hand, the interior ministry has chalked out a strategy to deal with the marchers if the opposition parties refuse to negotiate with the government team or the talks fail.
The Lahore and Peshawar motorways and GT Road will be closed from 31st October.
JUI-F Chief earlier announced that his party’s anti-government ‘Azadi March’ to Islamabad will take place on 31st October 31 instead of the 27th of the same month.
The JUI-F’s plans to march on 31st October is the protest against the incumbent government and asking for the resignation of the prime minister and place the demand of the fresh elections.
