ISLAMABAD: Former PTI MNA Amjad Khan Niazi has been arrested in Islamabad after which he was allegedly subjected to brutal torture.

Last footage of Amjad Niaz posted online by anchorperson Shiffa Yousafzai, showing him being taken away by personnel of Islamabad Police from the place where his party Chairman Imran Khan was present outside Judicial Complex.

Hours after his arrest, graphic images of Amjad Niazi with brutal torture marks appeared online and circulated by leading media personalities as well as PTI leaders.
Leading anchorperson Hamid Mir condemned the police torture, saying that Police didn’t torture him, but the force actually baton-charged weaker democracy of Pakistan.

Another anchorperson Rauf Klasra expressed deep sense of shock and revealed that the picture of Amjad Niazi was taken by his lawyer Raheel Khan Niazi when he visited his client in Ramna Police Station Islamabad.
