LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz will be presented before an accountability court today in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
According to details, Maryam Nawaz and her cousin Yousaf Abbas will be produced before an accountability court as their physical remand ends today.
Strict security measures have been taken to avoid any inauspicious scene outside the court appearance.

In the previous hearing, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) requested the court to grant an extension of 15 days in their judicial remand but was granted a two-day extension instead.
In August, the NAB had arrested Maryam Nawaz, her cousin Yousaf Abbas in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
According to the NAB, transactions worth millions of rupees were made under Chaudhry and Shamim mills.

NAB has also claimed that three foreigners had transferred 11000 shares worth millions of rupees on Maryam Nawaz’s name.
Rs7 million worth of shares were transferred to Maryam Nawaz in 2008 through mill’s shares, which were later transferred to Yousaf Abbas Sharif in 2010.
