ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi said Prime Minister Imran Khan is determined to eliminate poverty and to provide similar opportunities to people of the country.
According to sources, Dr. Alvi further added that many foreign investors see Pakistan as an interesting country to invest in diverse areas such as trade.
He further said that the state cannot fight poverty alone. To ensure the welfare of the underprivileged citizens, large business groups need to contribute and play their part as well.
Dr. Alvi also commented on on-going British Royal Couple five-day visit saying such high levels visits are necessary to strengthen bilateral relations.
The Duke and Duchess had also met President Dr. Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan earlier.
