MULTAN: In yet another horrific incident, a 10-year-old boy was allegedly raped and murdered in Multan city of Punjab on Saturday night.
According to details, the incident occurred in the limits of the New Multan police station. The boy, named Haris, had gone missing and when he did not return home, locals made announcements through loudspeakers, asking for his whereabouts.
The locals then began a search and found his body, with a rope around his neck, in a nearby location. The parents of the victim informed that the police have not registered a case in this regard yet.
The victim’s parents have appealed to the Chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar and Inspector General of Police Punjab to take notice of the incident and take strict against the authorities for not registering the case.
It is worth mentioning here that the country is already in a state of shock after two horrific rape incidents were reported from Karachi and Lahore.
A five-year-old girl Marwah was raped and then burned to death in Karachi’s Essa Nagri. Later, a woman was sexually harassed by two men as she was forced to stop by at Lahore motorway in front of her children.
