LONDON: British Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has appealed to the citizens to celebrate Independence Day cautiously due to the coronavirus.
In a video message on Twitter, the former world champion congratulated the people on the occasion of Pakistan Day.

“I love Pakistan very much,” he said in a video message, by adding that Pakistan is his second home.
“We are going through a difficult situation due to the coronavirus, but we have to stay strong and fight the epidemic together,” said the boxer.

The British-born Pakistani boxer appealed to the nation to be careful in celebrating independence day. Aamir Khan urged to stay at home and with the loved ones and stay strong.
The former world champion said that he would visit Pakistan soon and bring Pakistani talent to the world by promoting boxing there.
