RAWALPINDI: A Frontier Corps (FC) soldier was martyred and two others were injured in firing from across the Afghan border in Bin Shahi area of Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
In a statement, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Mortar and heavy weapons were used in the firing from across the Afghan border, added ISPR.
Earlier today (Wednesday), in yet another ceasefire violation, an 18-year-old girl embraced martyrdom and as many as six civilians including two women were injured in unprovoked Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC).
The military’s media wing informed that the Indian army troops initiated unprovoked ceasefire violations along LOC targeting the civil population in Hot Spring Sector. ISPR also said that Pakistan Army troops responded effectively and target those posts which initiated fire.
Earlier on July 30, the reports of casualties and injuries had emerged from Chaman where protestors stormed a border post at the Pak-Afghan border.
