ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has fulfilled the desire of a 15-year-old boy, fighting cancer disease for the past year.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 15-year-old boy cancer patient, Ali Raza, expressed his desire to meet COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa and join Pakistan Army.

In this regard, COAS Qamar Bajwa interacted with the 15-year-old boy cancer patient via video link. The interaction was arranged at Corps Commander Headquarters Karachi, the military’s media wing informed.
During the virtual meeting, General Qamar Bajwa appreciated his passion, inquired about his wellbeing, and prayed for his recovery. The cancer patient later thanked the army chief for fulfilling his desire. The boy said, “My name is Ali Raza. I wish to join the army to protect my country. Today, I’m very happy to wear this uniform!”
