KARACHI: Famous Television actress Yashma Gill on Saturday disclosed that she has tested positive for the novel COVID-19.
On a social media website Twitter, Yashma Gill said, “Three days ago I felt feverish with mild symptoms associated with #Covid19 – so I self-isolated and got myself tested immediately”.
“Yesterday evening, my report came out to be positive. But so far I am doing fine (Alhamdulillah) except the initial symptoms,” she added.

In another tweet, she wrote, “My Initial thought was, I won’t tell anyone – but then I realized we can’t create a stigma around this disease and we need to fight it. Keep me in your prayers, because I am scared!”
She had also urged people to pray for her speedy recovery.”Thank you, everyone, for your prayers and good wishes”, Gill added.

Earlier, the leading cast of ‘Mera Dil Mera Dushman’ actors Yasir Nawaz and Alizeh Shah have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the details, the cast appeared as a guest on Nida Yasir’s morning show on a private channel during the prevailing virus. Along with the leading cast, actors, Noman Sami and Naveed Raza had also tested positive.
The whole family of Yasir had suffered symptoms of COVID-19 and later their tests turned out positive. However, the couple is yet to make any statement regarding this.
The coronavirus pandemic has killed over five thousand people in Pakistan and infected more than 248,000 others.
