ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Haripur to inaugurate the production facility of the first-ever indigenously developed ventilators in Pakistan.
The prime minister will inaugurate a National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) production facility for the manufacture of indigenously developed ventilators in the country.
The NRTC has become the first organization in Pakistan that started the domestic production of ventilators. The factor has the capacity to produce 250-300 units per month, which will provide much comfort to Pakistan as it continues to deal with an uptick in coronavirus cases.

Moreover, the prime minister will deliver a keynote address at a special session of the International Labour Organization (ILO) on Wednesday i.e. on 8th July. According to details, the special session will be held on the special request of Pakistan to evolve a strategy for the well-being of laborers in the post-coronavirus scenario.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfikar Bukhari forwarded the request to the ILO on the occasion of World Labour Day for holding a session of its member states to discuss the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on laborers across the world.
