NEW YORK: United States famous sitcom ‘Friends’ actress Lisa Kudrow has assured that series’ special reunion episode will be worth the wait.
While talking about the reunion, the actress who essayed the role of Phoebe Buffay on the show said that the reunion will be much more than just a sit-down chat show.
“It is definitely going to happen. We just keep putting dates on the calendar. When we can do it, we will do it. [The planning] was pretty far along, but it seemed pretty clear that if people can’t gather then we can’t do it,” she said.
She went on to add that the episode will have a lot of other things included, “There are other things to it; things I shouldn’t really talk about because they should be good – but those things can’t happen [right now]. We just decided on another date and we’ll see if we can do it then.”
The cast of ‘Friends’ will resume filming by the end of the summer which was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic. The main cast including Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), Matthew Perry (Chandler), and David Schwimmer (Ross) was scheduled to record a special episode earlier in March, but the project was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Like other shows and movies during the global pandemic, the Friends special is adjusting its filming schedule. The project was initially slated to film on 23rd March but was delayed until at least May.
Now, it is likely filming will take place at the end of the summer as long as lockdown measures have been lifted in time.
