ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has announced that Pakistani manufactures will be able to export COVID-19 related material to the world from this week.
Fawad Chaudhry took to Twitter where he shared a picture in which the United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo thanked Pakistan for sending medical supplies to fight the coronavirus, the epidemic that has claimed 101,573 lives in the US.

The federal minister in a tweet shared the news that a ban on exports of Personal protective equipment (PPE)’s will be completely lifted and Pakistani manufacturers would be able to export medical equipment related to COVID-19 internationally.
Earlier this week, Mike Pompeo appreciated Pakistan’s goodwill donation of surgical masks and protective suits to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
In a tweet, he wrote, “This delivery is a symbol of Pak-US solidarity in the fight against COVID-19,” He termed it a partnership for the prosperity of the two countries.
Moreover, US diplomat Alice Wells also expressed gratitude to Pakistan for the goodwill donation. “Our countries’ health partnership and coordinated response will help defeat this virus, and rebuild our prosperity,” she said.
