ISLAMABAD: Illegal construction continues in sector H-13 of Islamabad despite the restraining orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
According to details, the construction mafia is busy constructing illegal multi-story buildings; however, the Supreme Court has issued warning several times.
As per ICT (Zoning), Regulations-1992, and Islamabad Building Control Regulations-2005 in zone-I including sector H-13, construction of buildings and apartments in the area is illegal.
Sources have revealed that a top leader of the incumbent federal government is also involved in illegal construction. Sources also revealed that PTI leader in collusion with other builders is constructing a huge tower named as ‘Aryan’.
Sources also claimed that the construction mafia is turning its black money into white by constructing several housing schemes, plazas, and towers.
Sources also revealed that the Islamabad administration and the federal police aren’t taking action against the construction mafia.
According to a CDA source, the situation will become worse when the Supreme Court orders to demolish all the illegal buildings in the locality.
