ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has announced to close the Senate secretariat till 5th April in view of the coronavirus outbreak.
The Chairman Senate also closed the offices of Prime Minister and President’s house till the designated date in this regard.
According to Sadiq Sanjrani, the purpose of closing offices is to restrict movement. “As a nation, it is our responsibility to take all security measures in a timely manner,” he said.
Last week, Sanjrani while discussing the ongoing situation of the country instructed people to pray at 10:30 AM seeking Almighty’s blessing against the coronavirus outbreak.
The acting president also advised people to restrict communication and said that taking precautionary measures was the social responsibility of the nation.
