LAHORE: Lahore Qalandars thrashed Multan Sultans by 9 wickets in a dominating style in 29th match of Pakistan Super League season 5 at Gaddafi Stadium.
Lahore Qalandars also reached the semi-finals of the PSL season 5. It is the first time Lahore qualifies for semis.
Lahore Qalandars easily chased the target of 187 runs in 18.5 overs. The hard-hitter batsman Chris Lynn scored his first century of PSL as he scored 113 runs in just 55 balls.
While Fakhar Zaman also played aggressively and scored 57 runs in 35 balls. Sohail Akhter – captain of Lahore side – scored 19 runs.
All the bowlers of Multan side conceded runs, while Bilawal Bhatti, Junaid Khan and Ali Shafiq gave the most runs.
‘1st innings’
Multan Sultans scored 186 runs for 6 wickets. Khushdil Shah was the highest scorer of the side as he scored 70 runs in just 29 balls with help of 6 sixes and 5 fours.
