RAWALPINDI: Karachi Kings beat Peshawar Zalmi by 6 wickets in the 15th match of Pakistan Super League Season 5 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Karachi Kings easily chased the target of 152 runs. Babar Azam showed his class once again and scored 70 runs for 59 balls.
Alex Hales scored 49 runs in just 27 balls, whereas, Chadwick Walton scored 22 runs in 14 balls. Yasir Shah took 2 wickets for 28 runs.
‘1st innings’
Peshawar Zalmi scored 151 for 8 wickets. Peshawar Zalmi didn’t start well today as their three top batsmen were out on just 10 runs.
Shoiab Malik played a crucial inning and help the side to reach a sensible score. Liam Livingstone and Lewis Gregory scored 25,25 runs.
Muhammad Amir bowled well today and took 4 wickets 25 runs. Chris Jordan took 2 wickets for 33 runs.
Earlier, Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to bat against Peshawar Zalmi.
Wahab Riaz was leading the Peshawar side as Darren Sammy is resting today. Three changes were made for Peshawar Zalmi.
Carlos Brathwaite, Yasir Shah, and Rahat Ali were playing in this match.
