KARACHI: Two persons were crushed to death by a recklessly-driven passenger bus in Shershah area of the metropolis on Friday.
According to rescue sources, a fast-moving passenger bus crushed the people, who were waiting at the bus stop near NADRA office in the Shershah area.
Rescue sources further informed five people were also injured in the accident. The bodies and injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsies and treatment, respectively.
The cause of the incident is said to be the failure of the break due to over speeding, sources said. The condition of two injured was stated to be serious, hospital sources added.
The similar accident last year in Karachi motorcyclist, who was traveling along with his two children, was hit by a speeding oil tanker near Karachi’s Yousuf Plaza.
As a result, two children identified as old had lost their lives on the spot, while their father, Shakeel, suffered ruthless injuries.
