ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi has urged the people having virus symptoms should avoid public gatherings and Jumma congregation.
The President took to Twitter and said, “People who have ‘fever, cough, shortness of breath or any flu symptom should avoid going to public gatherings.”
He further said, “I have taken opinion from Ulema that for the sake of community well being they can perform prayers at home & avoid Jumma congregation so as not to put other people at risk.”

Earlier on Feb 26, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Health Servies Dr. Zafar Mirza has confirmed two cases of coronavirus in Pakistan.
He said that both of the cases are being taken care of. He further said, “No need to panic, things are under control.”
