ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has announced the date for Ramzan month of 2020.
In a tweet, Fawad Chaudhry wrote that the moon of Ramadan will be sighted n the evening of 24th April this year in the country.
انشااللہ رمضان المبارک کا چاند 24 اپریل کو پورے ملک میں دیکھا جا سکے گا اور25 اپریل کوپہلاروزہ ہو گا،روئت ھلال کمیٹی نے ذیعقداور رجب دونوں کی غلط تاریخ دیں 5 مارچ کو پارلیمان کی مذہبی امور کی کمیٹیوں کو بریفنگ دیں گے کہ عید اور اسلامی تہوار تقسیم نہیں اتحاد کا باعث بننے چاہئیں۔

He wrote that the Muslims of Pakistan would begin fasting from 25th April.
He further wrote that the Hilal Committee predicted the wrong dates of Zilqad and Rajab for which they would provide a briefing to the parliamentary committee of religious affairs next month.
He stated that the Eid and other Islamic festivities should be a symbol of unity rather than division.
