ISLAMABAD: A delegation of foreign investors led by Head of Strategist FIM Partners Mr. Matthew Vogel called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at PM’s office in Islamabad today (Tuesday).
According to a statement issued by PM’s Office, finance adviser Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Governor of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Reza Baqir and commerce adviser attended the meeting.
The delegation expressed their willingness to engage in long-term investment plans and also praised the investment-friendly policies of the government.
The delegation further stated that Pakistan has increased confidence of foreign investors through its effective policies and they are expecting major opportunities in the country.
They also lauded the initiative of Digit Pakistan and said that through this initiative Pakistan has grabbed major achievements to attract foreign investors.
At the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan has succeeded to gain confidence in world investors, adding that Pakistan was now on the path of economic and social development.
The premier also highlighted that Pakistan has improved its ranking up to 28 points in the World Bank (WB) report.
PM Imran underscored the importance of investment in Pakistan and said that Pakistan was the land of unlimited opportunities.
The premier has also ensured provision of maximum assistance and facilities to the foreign investors in the country.
