ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan ordered nationwide crackdown against hoarders who are responsible for creating artificial inflation.
Chairing a meeting in federal capital today (Tuesday), PM Imran has the directed concerned authorities to decrease 15 to 20 percent in price of basic food items.
PM Imran also said that the action will be taken against officers who failed to take action against hoarders and profiteers.
Healthcare facilities
PM Imran has said that no negligence will be tolerated in provision of best possible healthcare facilities to the nation.
The premier directed the authorities to pay special attention to make administration of public sector hospitals fully functional. He also ordered to fill the shortage of manpower in hospitals.
Education
Referring to education facilities, the Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities to meet the shortage of teachers in school.
He underscored the importance of education for the future of Pakistan and also emphasized the need for paying attention to the education of girls.
He said that a roadmap should be prepared for provision of quality education in all schools and colleges of Islamabad.
Law and order situation in Islamabad
Commenting on the law and order situation in federal capital, Imran Khan said that every possible step should be taken to establish a complaint management system in every police station.
The premier directed the interior minister to review the manpower and financial requirements of Islamabad police.
