LAHORE: Pakistan beat Iran by 22 points in the second semi-final of Kabaddi World Cup and qualified for the final against India, scheduled on Sunday at Lahore’s Nishtar Sports Complex.
Iran went down in front of the home side despite an initial 6-5 lead. But determined Pakistani side proved too good for Iran and thrashed the opponents by the score of 52-30.
Defending champions India will take on Pakistan tomorrow.
In the first semi-final, Australia gave a tough fight to India before going down. India could win only by a margin of 10 points.
It is pertinent to mention here that Indian has won the Kabaddi World six times.
