Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Thursday in line with gains in the international market.
In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs4,400 to settle at Rs483,962.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold gained Rs3,772, reaching Rs414,919, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association.
On Wednesday, gold prices recorded a sharp decline, with the per tola rate falling by Rs5,500 to close at Rs479,562.
In the global market, gold prices increased by $44 to reach $4,616 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices gained Rs55 to settle at Rs7,821 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
