Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Thursday, following an upward trend in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola climbed by Rs1,400 to reach Rs504,862.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,200, bringing it to Rs432,837, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, on Wednesday, gold per tola had surged by Rs3,500 to settle at Rs503,462.
Globally, gold prices also moved up, gaining $14 to reach $4,825 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices saw a notable increase of Rs110, with per tola rates rising to Rs8,514.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
