KARACHI: The Karachi Board of Secondary Education (KBSE) has issued a revised schedule for the postponed Class IX and X annual examinations and clarified arrangements for student admit cards.
KBSE postponed examinations that were due to begin on April 7 after students experienced problems downloading their admit cards. The board announced the exams will resume on April 10 and that a new date sheet will be issued shortly.
In its latest announcement, the Matriculation Board confirmed that the admit cards already issued will remain valid. Students who have not yet received admit cards will be provided with cards dated April 7 (Tuesday), as these were printed in advance. All candidates are required to follow the forthcoming revised date sheet.
The KBSE indicated that papers originally scheduled for April 7–9 are likely to be rescheduled to the end of the examination cycle, while the remainder of the timetable will largely remain unchanged. Students and schools are advised to await the formal date sheet from KBSE for final instructions.
