A 55-year-old wealthy woman in China has married a 25-year-old man and gifted him 50 million yuan (over Rs2 billion).
Yu Wenhong, who was born into a middle-class family, began working in the beauty industry at the age of 18 following her father’s death to support her family.
She later opened her own beauty salon and, in 2004, established a business in Hong Kong, eventually building a successful business empire.
At the age of 45, she entered a relationship with a younger model aged 25 at the time.
She has now married another 25-year-old man, born in 2001, who previously worked as a model for her company.
The two reportedly met in the second half of 2025. Media reports suggest that Yu frequently sent him gifts and money, including luxury items such as Mercedes vehicles.
According to reports, the couple married in March 2025, and she gifted him assets worth 50 million yuan, including cash, property and vehicles.
