Another US F-15 fighter jet was reported downed over Kuwait on Monday (today). However, neither US nor Kuwaiti authorities have fully confirmed the details.
The incident follows a March 20 event in which a US Air Force F-35A stealth fighter was reportedly struck by suspected Iranian fire during a mission over central Iran, as confirmed by US Central Command.
Earlier, US Central Command later clarified that three F-15E Strike Eagles were likely hit by Kuwaiti air defenses in a friendly fire incident. All six crew members survived and were safely recovered.
Video footage captured a US warplane descending over Kuwait, showing a crew member parachuting to safety. Reuters verified the location as Al Jahra, Kuwait.

According to CNN, the incident is considered “friendly fire,” with Kuwaiti forces mistakenly engaging the US jets while responding to Iranian drone and missile attacks.
