The wait for the world’s biggest pop act is officially over. Netflix and HYBE have sent shockwaves through the global music industry today by announcing a historic partnership to broadcast BTS’s full-group comeback to over 190 countries next month.
Marking their first performance together in nearly four years following mandatory military service, the septet, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are set to turn March 2026 into a month-long celebration of their return.
The “ARIRANG” Comeback Calendar
The comeback is built around the group’s fifth studio album, ARIRANG, which explores the group’s origins and Korean identity.

Gwanghwamun Square
In a move that emphasizes their status as cultural icons, the live concert on March 21st will take place at Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul.
This is the first time a solo artist has been permitted to hold a full-scale performance at this historic site, located in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Directed by Hamish Hamilton (known for Super Bowl halftime shows), the event is expected to be the largest live-streamed K-pop event in history.
BTS: THE RETURN (The Documentary)
A week after the concert, Netflix will premiere a documentary directed by Bao Nguyen (The Greatest Night in Pop). Unlike previous concert films, this documentary reportedly focuses on the “quieter questions” of their reunion:
Writing and recording in Los Angeles for the first time after years apart.
Deeply personal reflections from each member on their time in the military and their transition back into the global spotlight.
Behind-the-scenes footage of the doubts and joys of starting a new chapter as a group.
The “ARIRANG” World Tour 2026-2027
The Netflix events serve as a launchpad for a massive 79-show world tour spanning 34 cities. While many US and European dates have already sold out in pre-sales, the group will head to:
- Including highly anticipated stops in Bangkok and Singapore and a 2-day finale in Jakarta.
- Including London (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium) and Paris.
- Extensive stadium runs across the US, Mexico, and Brazil.
This marks Netflix’s first-ever global live broadcast from South Korea, signaling the streaming giant’s heavy investment in live event programming following the success of their NFL and boxing specials.
