DHAKA: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has named West Indian Ottis Gibson as the team’s new bowling coach on a two-year contract and his first assignment will be a three-match Twenty20 series in Pakistan starting on Friday, January 24.
Gibson has replaced South African Charl Langeveldt who left last month to start a similar role in South Africa. He was the head coach of South Africa till August 2019 and previously served as the bowling coach of England.
It must be noted that the visitors will play three T20Is on 24, 25 and 27 January at the Gaddafi Stadium. The first match on Friday will mark the eleventh T20I between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
