Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is among the top-grossing Indian movies ever as this blockbuster phenomenon is rewriting records at the global box office.
Since its December 5 release, the spy thriller has crossed the ₹1,000 crore mark worldwide, entering the prestigious 1,000 crore club and becoming the highest-earning Hindi film.
Plot
The movie is written, directed, and co-produced by Aditya Dhar. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
The story of Dhurandhar revolves around a covert Indian intelligence operation in which an undercover agent infiltrates a hostile country to dismantle terrorist networks.
The protagonist (played by Ranveer Singh) assumes a new identity and joins extremist groups to uncover their operations. His mission is not only to gather intelligence but also to prevent a major attack that could trigger widespread destruction across the region.
OTT Release
Following its successful theatrical run, the blockbuster spy is all set for it much-awaited digital debut with Indian media reports suggest that the film’s Netflix premiere is scheduled for January 30, 2026.
