Gold and silver rates in Pakistan saw a slight decline on Thursday, January 8, 2025, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa, Gems, and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs.600 to Rs.466,162, while the 10-gram 24K gold rate dropped by Rs.515 to Rs.399,658.

The 10-gram 22K gold price also fell by Rs. 472, settling at Rs. 366,366. International gold was trading at $4,438, down $6.
Silver prices followed the downward trend, with 24-karat silver per tola falling Rs.236 to Rs.8,125, and 10-gram silver decreasing Rs.203 to Rs.6,965.
International silver was valued at $76.50, down $2.36.
The gold and silver rates are calculated based on the interbank exchange rates, with 24-karat gold purity maintained at 999.9.
All Pakistan Sarafa, Gems, and Jewellers Association confirmed the updated rates, highlighting the continued influence of international market fluctuations on domestic gold and silver prices.
