Pakistan’s Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem has been honoured with the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Award, named after the ruler of Dubai.
The award was presented during the World Sports Summit in Dubai, in the presence of leading figures from the global sporting community.
Arshad Nadeem received the honour at the 17th Dubai World Sports Summit in recognition of his outstanding achievements.

The award was conferred by Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, son of the Dubai ruler, who personally presented the honour to the Olympic javelin throw champion.
It is worth recalling that Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal at the Paris Olympics 2024, delivering a remarkable 92.97-metre throw in the men’s javelin event.
