A resident of Lyari’s Kalakot Bagh Line in Karachi, father to three daughters, has died by suicide after allegedly hanging himself. At the time of the incident, the deceased’s wife was performing Umrah along with one of their daughters.
According to reports, a man was found dead with a noose around his neck inside his home within the limits of Kalakot Police Station, Lyari Nabi Bagh Line.
The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi by Edhi Ambulance at 8:35am on Monday.
Sub-Inspector Anwar Baloch, in charge of the Eidgah Police Post at Civil Hospital, identified the deceased as Muhammad Younis, son of Abdul Ghafoor. Police reached the scene and initiated an investigation.
Preliminary inquiries revealed that Muhammad Younis was employed with a private company and was the father of three daughters.
His wife had travelled for Umrah with one daughter, while the remaining two daughters were at home. Police stated that the deceased was reportedly suffering from mental stress.
