Gold and silver prices in Pakistan witnessed a sharp decline today, following a significant drop in international market rates.
According to the latest data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold has dropped by Rs. 5,500 per tola.

The local price correction is a direct response to the downturn in the global bullion market.
International Gold: Fell by $55, reaching $4,478 per ounce.
International Silver: Dropped by $3.32, settling at $76.00 per ounce.
The rates were confirmed by Muhammad Qasim Shikarpuri, President of the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, who noted that current domestic pricing remains closely tied to international trends and currency fluctuations.
