Kasim Khan urges world leaders to seek proof of his father’s life

Kasim Khan, the son of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has urgently appealed to the international community and human rights organizations to pressure the Government of Pakistan to provide proof of life for his father.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) shared the contents of Qasim Khan’s message on its official social media accounts.

Kasim Khan expressed deep distress over the situation:

My father has been under arrest for 845 days. For the past six weeks, he has been kept in solitary confinement in a death cell with zero transparency. “My father has been detained for 845 days. He has been kept in solitary confinement for the last six weeks.”

He noted that Imran Khan’s sisters are being denied visits, stating, “Despite clear court orders, no access has been permitted.”

The message stressed, “No phone calls, no meetings, and no proof of life.”

Kasim Khan asserted, “My brother and I have no contact with our father. This is a deliberate effort to prevent our family from knowing whether he is safe or not.”

He called upon the international community, global human rights organizations, and all democratic voices to intervene immediately, demanding they request “proof of life for Imran Khan, order access to the court, and put an end to this inhuman isolation.”

Government’s Position

Meanwhile, Prime Minister’s Advisor Rana Sanaullah dismissed these concerns during a segment on Samaa News.

He claimed that Imran Khan has not been moved from Adiala Jail and is safe and sound there.
