Three Pakistani nationals lost their lives in a tragic traffic accident in Saudi Arabia.
The incident occurred on Thursday when a vehicle met with a horrific crash, leaving all the Pakistani passengers critically injured.
They were shifted to a hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad, Imdadullah, and Bakht Munir Khan, all residents of Kakad village in Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Two of the victims were cousins.
The bodies were transported to Pakistan, where their funeral prayers were offered in Kakad village in the presence of thousands of mourners.
They were later laid to rest in their ancestral graveyard. The atmosphere at the burial was extremely emotional, with grief visible on every face.
It is noteworthy that just last week, a bus carrying Indian pilgrims near the holy city of Madinah collided with a diesel tanker, resulting in the deaths of 45 Indian nationals.
Earlier, on July 26, 2025, another tragic accident in Saudi Arabia claimed the lives of seven Pakistani Umrah pilgrims from Dagai Khudokhel area of Buner, including four children, while five members of the same family were injured.
