A formal agreement regarding arrangements and facilities for Hajj 2026 has been finalized between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Saudi Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman Al-Mishat, and Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs, Dr. Syed Ata-ur-Rahman, signed the Hajj agreement last night in Jeddah.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, His Excellency Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, DG Hajj Jeddah Abdul Wahab Soomro, Director Hajj Makkah Azizullah Khan, Director Hajj Madinah Zia-ur-Rahman, Deputy Secretary Hajj Policy Chaudhry Kashif Hussain, and officials of HOAP, the representative organization of private Hajj companies.
Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs Dr. Syed Ata-ur-Rahman thanked the Saudi government for its excellent efforts in hospitality and provision of facilities for the pilgrims. He said that, like last year, Pakistani pilgrims would be provided with high-quality facilities this year as well.
He further stated that the Ministry of Religious Affairs is committed to completing the arrangements for government and private Hajj schemes in a timely and effective manner, in accordance with the directives of the Saudi government.
