The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has issued visas to Indian Sikh pilgrims for the celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak’s birth anniversary, spreading joy among the pilgrims.
According to a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, visas have been granted for participation in the birth anniversary celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji, with the number of issued visas exceeding 2,100.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, it was said that the celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birth anniversary will take place in Pakistan from November 4 to 13, 2025.

It is worth mentioning that earlier, on September 22, 2025, India had stopped Sikh pilgrims from traveling to Pakistan for Baba Guru Nanak’s death anniversary.
The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs had issued an advisory preventing Sikh pilgrims from visiting Pakistan, while Sikh pilgrims from around the world had already arrived in Kartarpur to perform religious rituals.
The Sikh community reacted strongly against the restriction. The head of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, said it was a violation of fundamental religious rights, questioning that if Pakistan and India can play a cricket match, then why can’t Sikh pilgrims visit Pakistan?
