Security forces foiled a suicide attack by the Khawarij in North Waziristan, killing four terrorists, as confirmed by security sources on Friday.
Security forces have foiled a suicide attack by the Khawarij in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, during which four terrorists were killed. There was no loss to the security forces during the attack.
According to security sources, the Khawarij attempted a suicide attack on the security forces in Mir Ali. One terrorist rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the wall of the forces’ camp, causing an explosion.
The blast damaged the wall of the camp. After that, three more terrorists tried to enter the camp. In a brave counteraction by the forces, all three terrorists were killed outside the camp, according to security sources.
In the retaliatory action, a total of four Khariji terrorists were killed. The security forces stated that cowardly attacks cannot weaken their resolve. The operation against the terrorists will continue.
