In local bullion markets across the country today, Sunday, October 12, 2025, one tola of gold is being sold at Rs. 422,700, and these prices will remain effective until tomorrow, Monday, after which the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association will issue new rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association, yesterday, Saturday, October 11, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 2,100, reaching Rs. 422,700, and due to the weekly holiday today, the same rates will remain effective.
Ten grams of gold, after an increase of Rs. 1,800, is being bought and sold at Rs. 362,397, according to the rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association.
On the other hand, the price of gold has also increased in the international market, where gold per ounce has risen by 21 dollars, reaching 4,016 dollars.
There is a possibility of a further increase in gold prices, especially if global economic conditions and currency fluctuations continue. Goldman Sachs has predicted that by December 2026, the price of gold per ounce may reach 4,900 dollars, which is about 25% higher than the current price, according to experts.
The price of gold per tola in Pakistan may increase from Rs. 422,700 to Rs. 450,000 or even higher, according to this prediction.
Gold prices in Pakistan remain parallel to global market prices, and the depreciation of the rupee also causes an increase in local prices. If global conditions fluctuate further or the rupee’s value declines, gold prices may rise further.
In addition, due to the rise in gold and silver prices globally, investors’ inclination toward safe investments has increased, which has raised the demand for gold.
