Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday, mirroring gains in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold rose by Rs2,100 per tola, reaching Rs422,700.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold climbed by Rs1,800 to settle at Rs362,397.
This comes after a decline on Friday, when gold prices dropped by Rs4,578 per tola to close at Rs420,600.
Internationally, gold prices also moved higher. The global rate was reported at $4,016 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a gain of $21 for the day, according to APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with the rate holding steady at Rs5,100 per tola.
