Earthquake tremors were felt in Quetta and surrounding areas. The 5.0 magnitude earthquake caused panic in the affected regions, as reported by national media on Sunday.
According to details, panic spread in Balochistan’s provincial capital, Quetta, due to the tremors. The Seismological Center stated that the earthquake’s magnitude was recorded at 5.0, with the epicenter located 65 kilometers west of the city.
The center further said that the earthquake’s depth was 25 kilometers underground. It is noteworthy that no loss of life or property has been reported so far due to the earthquake.
Earlier in September, earthquake tremors were felt in different cities of the country including Rawalpindi and Islamabad, causing panic in the affected areas.
