Sheikh Bashir Ahmad Siddiq, a Pakistani-born teacher who taught the Quran at Masjid al-Nabawi (PBUH), has passed away.
According to the spokesperson of Jamia Ashrafia Lahore, the funeral prayer of Sheikh Bashir Ahmad Siddiq was offered at Masjid al-Nabawi.
He was laid to rest in Jannat al-Baqi, the spokesperson added.

Sheikh Bashir Ahmad Siddiq had been teaching the Quran at Masjid al-Nabawi for over 60 years.
He dedicated his entire life to the teaching, preaching, and service of the Quran, and had students all over the world.
