Terrorist attacks in the districts of Bannu and Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, were foiled by police, as reported by national media on Wednesday.
In Bannu, terrorists first targeted the Miryan police station and then the Mazang outpost; however, the police repelled both attacks with courage and strategy.
Terrorists attacked the Miryan police station, which was foiled within 20 minutes. At Mazang outpost in Miryan, dozens of terrorists also attacked with heavy weapons, and firing continued for an hour, according to the Regional Police Officer.
According to RPO Bannu Sajjad Khan, the police killed 3 terrorists and injured 4. The companions of the terrorists fled with the dead and injured, while 3 police personnel were slightly injured in the attack.
Meanwhile, terrorists also attacked the Gargari police station in Karak, but during this, an exchange of fire took place between the police and terrorists. According to the DPO, terrorists were not allowed to come near the police station.
