India and Pakistan are set to face off on neutral ground in England next year as part of the 2025–26 FIH Hockey Pro League, as the International Hockey Federation (FIH) has finalized the schedule for the upcoming league.
The new Pro League season will kick off on December 9, launching a 144-match campaign that will take place across 10 countries. Ireland and Argentina will host the opening matches, with Ireland’s women’s team and Pakistan’s men’s team making their Pro League debut.
Throughout the season, matches will be played in Ireland, Argentina, China, Spain, Australia, India, England, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
The full fixture list, including dates and venues, will be published on the official FIH Pro League website on September 17.
Pakistan will face the Netherlands and Argentina in Argentina from December 9 to 14, 2025.
Similarly, the Pakistan hockey team will compete against Germany and hosts Australia in Australia from February 10 to 15, 2026. The national team will then take on Spain and hosts Belgium in Belgium from June 13 to 21, 2026.
As per the Pro Hockey League schedule, Pakistan will also play traditional rivals India and hosts England in England from June 23 to 28, 2026.
Earlier, the federal government approved a grant of PKR 250 million for Pakistan’s participation in the FIH Pro League.
