In Quetta, the price of chicken meat has increased significantly, as a result of which the new price has exceeded 600 rupees, while the price of chicken meat has also risen in other cities of the country.
In Quetta, after an increase of 60 rupees per kilogram, the price of chicken meat has reached 620 rupees, while the price of live chicken has risen by 100 rupees to 500 rupees per kilogram.
The official price of chicken meat is 620 rupees, but shopkeepers are selling it at 680 rupees. The official rate of live chicken is 400 rupees per kilogram, but it is being sold in the market at 500 rupees per kilogram.
Shopkeepers say that the increase in prices is due to a shortage of stock and reduced supply from Punjab, however, the citizens of Quetta have rejected this claim.
On the other hand, the price of chicken meat has also increased in Karachi. In various areas, the price of meat has reached between 600 and 700 rupees per kilogram.
