ISLAMABAD: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held a meeting with Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir in Islamabad, where the two sides engaged in detailed discussions on regional security, counterterrorism, and matters of mutual interest.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both countries reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership and enhancing close cooperation at regional and international forums.
Wang Yi reiterated China’s unwavering support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and development, while Field Marshal Munir expressed gratitude for Beijing’s consistent support.
The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
