The Punjab government has decided to award a high civil award to Assistant Commissioner Pattoki Furqan Ahmed Khan, who passed away on Sunday.
According to details, the Punjab government will also give a grant of 10 million rupees to the heirs of the Assistant Commissioner who died while performing his duties during the floods.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz approved a high civil award and 10 million rupees for AC Furqan Ahmed.
Despite being a cancer patient, the Assistant Commissioner continued to perform flood relief duties. The late Furqan Ahmed Khan remained busy in rescue and relief operations for victims in the flood-affected areas of Pattoki.
The late Furqan Ahmed continuously worked to provide food, medicine, and other facilities to flood victims in Pattoki.
While appreciating the services of the late Furqan Ahmed, Chief Minister Punjab said that he is a true hero who sacrificed his life while helping people in the most difficult circumstances. The dedication of Furqan Ahmed will always be remembered.
