The Venice Film Festival has opened on the Lido, drawing global stars and acclaimed directors.
Highlights include Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, and Ayo Edebiri in Luca Guadagnino’s “After the Hunt”; George Clooney and Adam Sandler in Noah Baumbach’s “Jay Kelly”; and Emma Stone in Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Bugonia.”
Other premieres feature Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Jacob Elordi, and Oscar Isaac. The jury includes Alexander Payne, Cristian Mungiu, Zhao Tao, and others.
