An important educational seminar held at the Institute of Public Health in Lahore was marred by a huge uproar when pornographic content was suddenly played on the projector during the program conducted through Zoom.
The incident occurred when an international online seminar was underway on the current situation of dengue and global measures, in which a large number of experts from various health sectors, women, students, and government representatives participated.
According to sources, Provincial Minister for Health Javed Akram also attended the seminar; however, moments after he left, an immoral video clip started playing on the projector, which caused a wave of anxiety and outrage among the participants.

The obscene clip could not be stopped for two minutes, due to which the administration was under severe pressure and embarrassment.
Some participants recorded the videos of the incident on mobile phones and shared them on social media, after which the news spread like wildfire.
The public, parents, teachers and various social organizations have expressed strong concern and outrage over the incident.
According to initial investigations, the Zoom seminar was being run by technical staff, but it is not clear how the obscene material got on air. The management of the Institute of Public Health has announced a formal inquiry into the incident, and the technical staff has been suspended.
Experts say that such incidents not only affect the reputation of the institutions but also affect the participation of women, especially in programs where the educational and public interest aspects prevail.
There has also been a demand at the public level that security protocols be further tightened during online seminars and that the use of modern security software be ensured so that such unpleasant incidents can be avoided in the future.
